Mountain Yaks are most commonly found within the Valley of the Four Winds and Kun-Lai Summit. Dustback Gorge^{[13, 76.2]}

in the Valley is home to quite a few, especially on the western ridge. Places within the Summit include Shado-Li Basin and the Burlap Trail.
