Overview
Fires several missiles, hitting 3 targets for an additional X damage.
Functionality
Uses
- Multi-shot is the second strongest physical attack the Hunter is capable of (behind [Aimed Shot])
- Multi-shot can hit up to three mobs.
Limitations
- Multi-shot will indiscriminately pick the other 2 targets. While it will not strike friendly targets, it can strike neutral targets and cause them to attack you, or targets that are CCed.
- Multi-Shot has always had a short cast time (even when it used to be labeled as an instant attack), and thus cannot be used while moving.
Range
- 8-35 yards
Cooldown
- 10 seconds
Casting Time
- 0.5 seconds

- Efficiency (Marksmanship Talent): Reduces the Mana cost of your Shots and Stings by 2% per rank (5 ranks total).
- [Hawk Eye] (Marksmanship Talent): Increases the range of your ranged weapon by 2 yards per rank (3 ranks total).

- [Barrage] (Marksmanship Talent): Increases the damage done by your Multi-Shot and Volley spells by 4% per rank (3 ranks total).
- [Improved Barrage] (Marksmanship Talent): Increases the critical hit chance of your Multi-Shot ability by 4% per rank and gives you a 33%/66%/100% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while channeling Volley. (3 ranks total)
- The 8 piece bonus of the Giantstalker Armor set increases the damage done by Multishot and Volley by 15%.
- [General's Chain Gloves] from Hunter Epic PvP set and [Blood Guard's Chain Vices] from Hunter Rare PvP set increase the damage done by Multi-Shot by 4%.
Special Note
- As of patch 1.10 Aimed Shot and Multishot use a 2.8 second multiplier in its calculation of bonus damage from Ranged Attack Power, instead of weapon speed. Thus, ranged weapons slower then 2.8 speed will have their damage slightly reduced, while ranged weapons faster then 2.8 speed will have their damage slightly increased. Bows with a speed of 2.8 will be nearly unaffected.
The reason for this 'normalization' of weapon speeds amongst ranged weapons, was because of two particular slow blue weapons, the [Carpace Spine Crossbow] and the [Bloodseeker]. Both have a 3.3 weapon speed, and with enough attack power, the user could hit harder with these crossbows then slightly faster Epic weapons such as [Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers].
