Murloc nightcrawlers are the murloc race's spies, scouts, and assassins on land. Nightcrawlers are even quieter and quicker than other murlocs, and train extensively on land. They scout new locations and trade sites, and gather information on intended targets. They have scales that glint, and bulging eyes, and a spiked fin above the creatures head. Murloc nightcrawlers use their speed and stealth to attack by surprise whenever possible. They may travel a night, peer out from the shadows, glide out from amidst trees and stalk silently. They carry a barbed trident in one hand a weighted net in the other. Their first attack is to hurl weighted nets and hopefully bind their opponents. In combat they retreat to nearby shadows and circle around their foes, trying to strike from behind. If the battle turns against them nightcrawlers flee and fetch reinforcements.[1] Yshmeel is the chief nightcrawler of the Ripfang tribe.[2]
