Obliterate is a death knight ability that allows the death knight to deal high damage and is a staple in the arsenal of unholy and frost death knights.
Like a few other death knight abilities, Obliterate uses a percentage of weapon damage, and therefore packs a bigger punch with a 2-handed weapon.

Patch changes
- Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed. Existing glyphs converted to [Glyph of Enduring Infection].
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now a Prime glyph (was Major) and requires level 61 (was 55). Now increase the damage of Obliterate by 20% (was 25%). Now requires 3 [Ink of the Sea] (was 1).
- Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): 50% bonus damage reduction per disease removed.
- Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added as a major glyph.
