Nether ray mounts are epic flying mounts available to players who obtain exalted with the Sha'tari Skyguard. They come in five colors and can be purchased from Grella <Skyguard Quartermaster> in the southeastern Terokkar Forest area of Blackwind Landing (reachable only by flying). These mounts are functionally equivalent to other normal epic flying mounts (+100% normal running speed on land, +280% in air). The mounts are available for 200 , but in 2.3 the discount was changed to 20% at exalted, so when you can buy the mounts, they only cost 160 . For unknown reasons, Red Riding Nether Ray's eyes do not glow. Currently, all Nether Ray Mounts are suffering from an unusual camera positioning bug: when used for flying, the camera moves itself ten feet over the player's actual position, often placing the player off the screen which can complicate travel.
