A Nerubian queen of Azjol-Nerub, Nezar'Azret survived the genocide of the nerubian race by the Scourge in the War of the Spider. She and the band of survivors she led remained in the Upper Kingdom. When the Death Knight Arthas, along with the traitor Crypt Lord Anub'arak, sought to reach his master quicker by passing through Azjol-Nerub, he came upon Nezar'azret and slaughtered her and her brethren.
