Nightmare

Nightmares are a type of demonic creature that live in the Twisting Nether and are encountered alone or ridden by night hag coveys.^{S&L 153-154} They are part of the forces of the Burning Legion.^{LG 118} Nightmares appear to include species such as dreadsteeds and felsteeds (see notes).

Notes

• Dreadsteeds can be found under the directory entitled "Nightmares" in the World of Warcraft files. This implies that dreadsteeds are a type of nightmare. Felsteeds are likely nightmares as well.

• The subdirectory "Gorgon101" is also found in the World of Warcraft files related to dreadsteeds, Gorgons are monsters from Manual of Monsters Appendix Three, however the validity of the source is disputed.
