Nightmare Vine can be found throughout Shadowmoon Valley as well as Forge Camp: Wrath and Forge Camp: Terror in Blade's Edge Mountains and Throne of Kil'jaeden in Hellfire Peninsula. Prior to patch 2.4, it was only available in Shadowmoon Valley. It does not appear to grow any place in particular, it can be seen out in the open as well as tucked in between rocks. Requires 365 Herbalism to gather.

Alchemy Potions:

55 Destruction Potion Requires Level 60 Use: Increases spell critical chance by 2% and spell damage by 120 for 15 sec.	Elixir of Major Shadow Power Requires Level 60 Use: Increases shadow spell damage by up to 55 for 1 hour. Battle Elixir. 1 Charges	55 Fel Mana Potion Requires Level 60 Use: Restores 3200 mana over 24 sec, but at a cost. Also reduces spell damage by 25 and healing done by 50 for 15 min. 1 Charges	Fel Regeneration Potion Requires Level 60 Use: Restores 3200 health over 24 sec, but at a cost. All stats are reduced by 15 for 15 min. 1 Charges
2020 Fel Strength Elixir Requires Level 60 Use: Increases attack power by 90 and decreases stamina by 10 for 60 min.	55 Flask of Pure Death Requires Level 65 Use: Increases spell damage caused by Shadow, Fire and Frost spells by up to 80 for 2 hrs. Counts as both a Battle and Guardian elixir. This effect persists through death. 1 Charges	Major Dreamless Sleep Potion Requires Level 55 Use: Puts the imbiber in a dreamless sleep for 12 sec. During that time the imbiber heals 3600 health and 3600 mana.

Superior Wizard Oil Requires Level 58 Use: While applied to target weapon it increases spell damage by up to 42. Lasts for 1 hour. 5 Charges

Notes

Gathering a Nightmare Vine will have a chance to place a poison debuff on the gatherer called Nightmare Pollen that does 75 to 125 nature damage per second for 10 seconds.

Gathering a Nightmare Vine will occasionally yield a Nightmare Seed and/or a Fel Lotus in addition to the herb.

As of patch 2.1.0

• Nightmare Vine: The poison from picking this herb is now considered Nature damage instead of Physical damage.
• Nightmare Vine has a reduced chance to poison the herbalist.
