The Northern Headlands[50.6, 20.3]
is located in the northern part of Gilneas, across the river from the Headlands and just south of the Greymane Wall. It is here the worgen and Forsaken battle one another for control of the kingdom, the forces of the Forsaken pouring through the shattered Wall to assault the surrounding countryside and city while their ships sail in from the south.
Much of the Headlands are comprised of gently rolling, grassy hills, dotted with stone ruins of former settlements. Closer to the wall the lands begin to turn to forest.
