The Obsidian Lair[55.6, 83.7] lies in the southwest corner of the Obsidian Forest, itself in the south of the Twilight Highlands. Here resides one of the last remaining black dragons capable of breeding, and the cave is filled with pockets of whelps. The initial entry is littered with bodies of red drakes that have tried unsuccessfully to infiltrate the Lair. Outside, the black dragonflight fights the red dragonflight within the Obsidian Forest.

Notes
- Flying mounts can be used while within the Lair.
- The Lair also has a rear entrance[47.6, 95.4] that leads from the Forbidding Sea, accessible from both sides only by flying mount.
