Old Man Liang is a wizened old pandaren that lives in the hills within the Singing Pools at his retreat. In his youth he was friend and playmate of the ancient spirit of water, Shu, but his age has slowed him considerably, and he has withdrawn from his former activities. He assists players in finding a way to befriend Shu.

After players accept his quests, he then appears near the Pool of Reflection.
