Defeat the classic, level 60 version of Onyxia.

On release of Patch 3.2.2, the "Onyxia's Lair" Raid achievement was converted to this Feat of Strength.

NotesEdit

This Feat of Strength was briefly obtainable by obtaining a Tier 2 helm item from Nefarian in Blackwing Lair (previously a drop from Onyxia). This was corrected in patch 3.3.0.
Despite the previous correction, the Feat can still be obtained by completing the quest [60R] The Only Prescription, a part of a chain quest for creating the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, which previously required killing the original Onyxia (now requires killing the level 80 Onyxia). You can also get the Feat by completing the quest [60R] A Proper String, which requires looting a [Mature Black Dragon Sinew] (previously only reliably gathered from Onyxia, it now has a low chance to drop from lesser black dragons). These oversights may be corrected in a future patch.
Finally, you can still be awarded the Feat of Strength if you have completed but not turned in one of the following quests before the original Onyxia encounter was removed: [60R] The Forging of Quel'Serrar, [60R] Victory for the Horde, [60R] Victory for the Alliance.

Patch 3.2.2 (2009-09-22): Renamed from "Onyxia's Lair", and moved from the Dungeons & Raids section of achievements to the Feats of Strength.
