Quest Loot

The  [Head of Onyxia] can be used to start the quest Victory for the Alliance or Victory of the Horde (depending on the character's faction). Once you turn in the head, everyone in Stormwind or Orgrimmar will get a buff called Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer (which gives increase crit chance of spells by 10% and by melee by 5% and increases attack power by 140, lasts for 120 minutes, and disappears upon death) and you get to chose between three rewards.

Skinning

A skinner with 315 skill can skin Onxyia to obtain two to four Scale of Onyxia. The scales are used to make Onyxia Scale Cloaks. Their primary use, besides offering excellent fire resistance, is to protect the wearer from Shadow Flame. Shadow Flame is an attack used by the three drakes and Nefarian in Blackwing Lair.
