This faction was renamed Shang Xi's Academy before the release of Mists of Pandaria.

Created by Sho Pan, the Pandaren Adventurer's Guild has grown into an entire country on the back of Shen-zin Su. They sail the world, fighting injustice, tyranny, and lack of good beer wherever they find it.

The Pandaren Adventurer's Guild was a faction affiliated with the pandaren on the Wandering Isle, but was replaced by the faction Shang Xi's Academy in the Beta around build 15882.^{[citation needed]}
