Patch 3.0 is expected to be the implementing patch for some changes coming in Wrath of the Lich King, the second expansion pack for World of Warcraft.

No release date or PTR plans have been announced.

This patch might alternatively be named "patch 3.0.1", to conform with patch 2.0.1 which had a similar purpose a month before the launch of The Burning Crusade.

• Profession - Inscription. Giving additional powers to spells and abilities, like more damage, bigger DoT, knockback.
• Hero Classes - Death Knight
• An option for enchanters to sell their enchants through the auction house.
