Penny Arcade is not strictly a fan site related to World of Warcraft, but started out as web comic^[1] with a large following that often featured World of Warcraft and MMOs as its subject matter. Since their humble beginnings Penny Arcade has branched out into general art for games and gaming sites^[2] as well as their own conference^[3] and video games.^[4]

Penny Arcade comics are featured in the official World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade strategy guides by Brady Games.
