PetMonitor -Documentation by Arys

Contents

Overview

PetMonitor provides a way for other members of a group to see the health of the pets in the party. The pet's health appears in a standard party member health window, along with a portrait of that pet. These frames can be dragged, scaled, locked in place, tied to the associated party member's frame (if you drag the party member's frame, their pet frame moves with it), and clicked on to target the pet.

This mod also includes an auto-shout in the party chat window when a pet's health reaches a user-defined threshold, similar to how CombatCaller works. It says to heal the pet, the pet's name, and it's current and max health.

HotKey mapping is also provided to allow users to bind a hotkey to target the party member(s) pets.

This mod requires Cosmos and the Chronos AddOn.

How To

Lock Pet Frames

To keep a Pet Frame from being dragged, right-click on the portrait of the pet and choose Lock. To Unlock a Pet Frame, choose Unlock.

Enable/Disable Receive (Hunters/Warlocks only)

Check this box in the configuration window if you want to see the health of other party member's pets. Uncheck it if you only want to share your health with other party members. This is on by default.

Enable/Disable PetMonitor

Uncheck this box in the configuration panel to disable PetMonitor from sending (if you're a pet class) and receiving pet healths.

Scale Pet Frames

In the configuration panel, you can scale the size of the Pet Frames. Default is 60%. Below 60% the name of the pet is hidden due to the text becoming illegible at smaller point sizes. If this option is disabled, it will use the default scale of 60%.

Reset Pet Frames

You can reset the positions and scales of all the pet frames by clicking the reset button in the configuration panel. Use this button if you accidentally drag them off screen, or they stop appearing for some reason.
