The Phantom Blade is a ghostly white blade which is cursed by Rogues everywhere. The sword can prevent rogues from stealthing away, even with Vanish.

The Phantom Blade is crafted by Blacksmiths with a skill level of 245 who also have the Weaponsmith specialty.
Since the release of The Burning Crusade this plan has been made available to all blacksmiths with the requisite skill level from the weapon trainer in Shattrath City
The components are:
- 28 Mithril Bars
- 6 Breath of Wind
- 8 Truesilver Bars
- 2 Lesser Invisibility Potions
- 6 Aquamarine
- 4 Solid Grinding Stones
- 2 Thick Leather
