Pit of Narjun

The Pit of Narjun [26.4, 48.9] is a large sinkhole in western Dragonblight. It is just south of the derelict taunka settlement Icemist Village and served as the point of entry of the Anub'ar forces of undead Nerubians — from which they invaded and took over the taunka capital.
The pit also serves as the entrance to both Azjol-Nerub (the Upper Kingdom) and Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom.
Inspiration
- The name of this sinkhole may be a reference to the Great Pit of Carkoon in the Star Wars Universe.
