Plague bears are bears with rotting flesh, large wounds on their side, and a damaged pelt. You can find these bears in the Western Plaguelands and in Felwood, and more recently in Dragonblight near Azjol-Nerub (plus one named Deathclaw in Bloodmyst Isle). Their bodies are likely corrupted or diseased from the plague or demonic influence in the regions they are found in. Despite their gruesome appearance, they are classified as beasts and are tameable by hunters.
