Plaguewood Tower is a ruined tower located in the Eastern Plaguelands [18, 27], and an objective in the Game of Towers world PvP event. It is located deep within the Plaguewood, the putrid fungal forest outside the gates of Stratholme. The faction controlling this tower gains access to William Kielar, who will allow players to rapidly fly to any of the other three towers.
PvP tactics
Plaguewood Tower is arguably the most useful of the towers in the Eastern Plaguelands, or at the very least the one with the most interesting benefit. The ability to rapidly reinforce any of the other towers is useful, as is the ability to return to Eastwall Tower, which is right next to the major quest hub Light's Hope Chapel. In addition, its rather remote location means that once captured, Plaguewood is likely to stay captured.
In Cataclysm
The Plaguewood Tower, along with all the other towers of the Eastern Plaguelands, has been rebuilt by the Argent Crusade and used as outposts throughout the region. Like Light's Hope Chapel, there are signs of life around the tower, and there is also a neutral flight master. The PvP component has been removed.[1]
