Plated Armorfish is a fish that can be fished in high level areas including Winterspring, Eastern Plaguelands, Dire Maul, Zul'Gurub, and Feralas. It has a higher drop rate during the night, while Lightning Eel has a higher drop rate during the day.

It is not used in cooking or alchemy, but 30 of them are needed for one of the Craftsman's Writ quests.
