General Umbriss is a 
[Twilight] dragonspawn and the first boss of the Grim Batol 5-player dungeon in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
Abilities
- Bleeding Wound — A vicious attack that deals weapon damage and an additional 8000 damage every 2 seconds for 15 sec or until healed to 90% of max health. Melee range
- Blitz 55 yd range — General Umbriss charges an enemy location, dealing physical damage and knocking them up if impacted! Cast on random player, 2.77 sec cast
- Frenzy — General Umbriss goes into a frenzy, increasing his attack speed by 50% and his Physical damage by 50% Cast at 30%(?)
- Ground Siege 20 yd range — The massive ground tremor Inflicts 35000 damage and stuns them for 4 sec. Cast on random melee player, 2.31 sec cast
- Summon Trogg Dweller — Summons 3 Troggs dweller plus 1 Malignant Trogg from the rubble behind him. They have the following abilities:
- Claw Puncture — Inflicts 499 Physical damage every 3 sec for 6 sec. Stacks.
- Summon Malignant Trogg — Summoned at the same time of Trogg Dweller and use the same abilitie plus the following: Always spawn on left side
- Modgud's Malady — Inflicted with the Curse of Modgud! On death inflicts Modgud's Malady on enemies within 8 yards. Inflict also the troggs and General Umbriss if in range
- Modgud's Malady — The unleashed Curse of Modgud inflicts 15000 Shadow Damage and 5000 Shadow damage every 1 sec to enemies within 8 yards and decreases move speed by 50% for 10 sec.
- Modgud's Malady — Inflicted with the Curse of Modgud! On death inflicts Modgud's Malady on enemies within 8 yards. Inflict also the troggs and General Umbriss if in range
Strategy
"Stub"
Periodically summons 1 Malignant Trogg plus 3 Trogg Dwellers, starting shortly after the pull. The malignant one is purple and always spawn on left side when you are facing General Umbriss. There will only be one malignant trogg alive at any given time. If the malignant trogg is CC'd, the next summon will only have 3 trogg dwellers.
The Malignant Troggs apply a stacking debuff on their melee target. It also has the curse Modgud's Malady. If it is killed near another trogg or the boss, he will spread the disease to other Troggs or General Umbriss, and enrage them. Therefore he must be killed away from other troggs and the boss. Alternatively, he could be CCed throughout the entire fight. To complete the achievement 'Umbrage for Umbriss', the malginant trogg should be CCed, and then released at around 10-15% and brought to the boss (either by a high threat dps, death grip, or a tank taunt) and killed.
Tank and melee must be careful to avoid Ground Siege. It's a front aoe, and Umbriss does not move while casting, so it is very easy to dodge.
Healer need to watch for Bleeding Wounds on tank, and heal the tank to full to prevent the debuff for doing any extra damage.
Range need to watch for Blitz being cast on them, and move away if it is. This works like the charge stun from Icehowl in Crusader's Coliseum. It charges the previous location of the targeted player. And therefore fairly trivial to move out if you pay attention.
At about 30%, Umbriss enrages (Frenzy). A hunter may use 
[Tranquilizing Shot] to remove it. Otherwise everyone should use any cooldowns left and burn him down before the damage on tank overwhelms the healer. Alternately, he may be kited.
