Princess Poobah

Princess Poobah is a level 42 quest giver located on Jaguero Isle in the contested territory of the Stranglethorn Vale. ^{[38, 80]} She is being held prisoner by Skymane King Mukla. It is as yet unclear exactly how she came by her title of "princess". Poobah has a very good throwing arm as she is able to toss many written notes in bottles out to sea.

• Through the item Crumpled Note, you learn that she was once held captive by Zanzil the Outcast.

Inspiration

• The name Poobah is a reference to the character of the Grand Poobah, the Lord High Everything, from the operetta "The Mikado", and has come to be used as a mocking title for someone self-important or high-ranking and who exhibits an inflated self-regard.
• The Grand Poobah or Grand Imperial Poobah was also the leader of the Loyal Order of the Water Buffaloes, Lodge No. 26 on The Flintstones.
• This quest could be a reference to King Kong as she is being held by a giant ape.
• This quest could be a reference to the game Donkey Kong as an ape has taken her captive.
