This article or section contains lore taken from the Warcraft manga or comics.

Prologue was originally an online-only exclusive comic, which premiered at MTV's Multiplayer blog.[1]. It marked the start of the World of Warcraft comic storyline which continued with Stranger in a Strange Land.

When Rehgar Earthfury's greatest gladiator, Bloodeye Redfist, is killed, he prepares to track down a new competitor for "The Crimson Ring", an underground network revolving around gladiatorial death matches. Meanwhile, the surviving members of Bloodeye's team, Valeera Sanguinar and Broll Bearmantle, discuss Rehgar's background as a warrior and gladiator.
