The Protectorate faction of Ethereals were formed in reaction to the obsessive search for vengeance by the Ethereum ruling class. They feel that the Ethereum are as great a threat to their existence as Dimensius who destroyed their world, K'aresh.

Commander Ameer of the Protectorate appears to represent their interests in Outland at the Protectorate Watch Post in Netherstorm.

Even though the Protectorate and the Consortium are two separate entities, completing Protectorate quests grants Consortium reputation.
