Proto-Drake Whelp is one of six possible drops from a Mysterious Egg. It resembles a red proto-drake, but considerably smaller. Its droprate is reported to be extremely low, so keep your fingers crossed!
It seems that this pet can actually fly, while most pets (even the bird ones) just hug the ground when you take off. This pet can follow you in flight.
