Objective

Enter the Violet Tower at the center of Kirin'Var Village and defeat Ar'kelos, then speak with Archmage Vargoth.

Details

This quest is the 8th and final step in a quest chain in Netherstorm that begins with  [68] The Archmage's Staff.

Description

Now that you've gathered all the items I'll need to break Kael'thas's curse, one thing remains to be done. When Kael'thas sealed the tower, he placed an arcane golem, known as Ar'kelos, at the bottom of the tower.

You must defeat Ar'kelos in order allow me to work magic within the tower again.

When you enter the Violet Tower, the curse will begin to affect you.

Once you have defeated Ar'kelos, ascend the tower and assist me in making preparations for the ritual.

Completition

You have done well, <name>. Destroying the dampening field will make it much easier for me to prepare the magic that will lift the tower's curse at last.

Core of Ar'kelos Binds when picked up Unique Trinket Use: Increases your melee and ranged attack power by 200. Effect lasts for 20 sec. Equip: Increases attack power by 52.

Cloak of the Valiant Defender Binds when picked up Back 262 Armor +21 Stamina Equip: Improves your defense rating by 15.

Rejuvenating Scepter Binds when picked up Wand Ranged Speed 1.40 100 - 186 Damage (102.1 damage per second) Durability 55 / 55 Item Level 108Disenchants into: [Arcane Dust]: 2-5 (75%) [Greater Planar Essence]: 1-2 (22%) [Large Prismatic Shard]: 1 (3%) Equip: Increases spell power by 16. Equip: Restores 2 mana per 5 sec.
