Even as we ready for the tournament, Argent Crusade forces prepare the way for an assault on the enemy's stronghold of Icecrown Citadel.
In the Court of Bones in southwestern Icecrown, a few brave crusaders have set up a forward camp on the southern side of Corp'rethar. Equip your lance and mount the stabled campaign charger at the camp, then destroy the Lich King's minions.
Do not fear the masses of boneguard footmen, <name>, for they can easily be trampled under your horse's hooves.
Have you served alongside the crusaders in the Court of Bones?
Completion
Your bravery on the field has shown the crusaders that they can rely on us in the battle against the Lich King.
Notes
Fly to just south of Corp'rethar. A small Argent Crusade camp has been set up with several Stabled Campaign Warhorses. Get on one and head southeast towards the citadel steps.
Between the camp and the citadel are Boneguard Scouts, gargoyles hovering too high to charge at. Two Shield-Breaker attacks are enough to dispatch them, though. Their ranged attack, Necrocution, do deplete Defend, so refresh it as necessary.
The Footmen are weak and will die after ineffectually smacking the charger around for a while by simply getting run over. Still try to take them out if they are beating on the charger, but focus should be on the Lieutenants and any nearby Scouts that may have aggroed.
Lieutenants act much like NPC valiants at the Argent Tournament Grounds. Take down their single stack of Defend and wail on them. It will take at minimum a Charge and a few other attacks to kill a Lieutenant.
Avoid the nearby Commanders at all costs! Commanders maintain a three-stack of Defend up at all times, compared to the Lieutenants who only keep one, and will easily destroy unwary solo players who charge into a group of them.
After completing "The Valiant's Challenge", the following quests open up allowing players to repeat the valiant stage of daily quests (steps six and seven) for the other factions with which they have not yet earned the right to champion:
