Objectives

Return your ward to the Shattrath City orphanage by handing in the Blood Elf Orphan Whistle to Orphan Matron Mercy in the Lower City.

Description

Darn it all! I guess it's time to go back to the orphanage at Shattrath City.

I've had such a great time. You're the best person in all of the worlds, <name>! You're my big <brother/sister> now!

<Salandria's eyes begin to well up with tears.>

I'm going to miss you so much!!!

Reward

You will be able to choose one of these rewards

Progress

It is good to see you again, <class>.  I trust that you and young Salandria had a wonderful time together?

Completion

It is good for the soul to know that there are heroes such as yourself that are willing to give of their time so selflessly.

I can tell already that your time together with Salandria has made a huge impression.  It's good for the children to have a chance to get out and see the world.

Here, she told me that she wanted you to take care of one of her favorite pets, just like you took care of her.  Something to remember her by.

Don't be a stranger.

Within a day of completing the quest, the player receives this mail:

Thank you!

Dear <name>,

Thank you for taking me out during Children's Week. Lady Liadrin, the leader of the Blood Knights, has asked that I be released to her custody for training in Silvermoon City!

I just wanted to thank you for taking me to see my friend, Hch'uu, as well as the Dark Portal, the Throne of the Elements, and the Caverns of Time. I like my toy dragon very much!

I'm sure that you're taking good care of my pet. Please tell him that I miss him!

Sincerely,

Salandria

Gains

Upon completion of this quest you will gain:

Notes

The rewards from this quest are all companion pets. They satisfy both the general pet collection achievements (starting with Money achievement  Can I Keep Him?) and the Children's Week achievements Money achievement  Aw, Isn't It Cute? and Money achievement  Veteran Nanny.

This quest chain can be repeated annually, allowing Veteran Nanny to be earned after three years.
