As some crusaders prepare for the tournament, they have sent others to make an assault on the enemy's stronghold of Icecrown Citadel.
In the Court of Bones in southwestern Icecrown, a few brave crusaders have set up a forward camp on the southern side of Corp'rethar. Equip your lance and mount the stabled campaign charger at the camp, then destroy the Lich King's minions.
Do not fear the masses of boneguard footmen, <name>, for they can easily be trampled under your horse's hooves.

Everywhere we have met the Scourge, we have made them fear us, and this campaign is no different.

The Argent Crusade is heartened to have <classes> like you fighting alongside us in the battle against the Lich King.
[Fate Rune of Baneful Intent] applies to damage done via your mount for this quest. While this does not mean much against most mobs, it does mean that you only need 2 thrown lances against scouts, vs 3.
For those trying to solo this quest, two notes: First, dismounting a horse (voluntarily or otherwise) does not disengage you from combat. The riders will continue to beat your head in. However, mounting a horse DOES disengage you from combat. Any mobs currently engaging you will disengage, evade, and return to their previous locations.
Second, the areas to the east and west of the encampment are relatively scout-free. Less interference from scouts means more stacks of defense buff on you, means you're more likely to survive.
To save repairing costs (if you fail and die), you could unequip all of your stuff except the lance before mounting up (the damage done is fixed and does not scale with your equipment). Using the gear manager or an addon will help.
