Objectives

Recover Thel'zan's Phylactery from Icestorm and return it to High Commander Halford Wyrmbane at Wintergarde Keep.

Description

Your frostwyrm is out there.

<Tyralion points west.>

And it's a big one!

When you're ready to fight, go speak to "Wyrmbait". He'll "fetch" her. Once Icestorm is close enough we'll chain her to the ground and finish her off! Hopefully, with your help, we'll be able to take her down and get you that phylactery.

Once you've got the phylactery, return to Wintergarde Keep and report to High Commander Halford Wyrmbane. He's been making preparations for the final showdown with Thel'zan.

Rewards

You will be allowed to choose one of these rewards

Wastewind Headcover Binds when picked up Cloth Head 145 Armor +67 Stamina +28 Intellect Equip: Increases spell power by 50.

Snowfall Reaver Breastplate Binds when picked up Leather Chest 335 Armor Equip: Improves haste rating by 33. Equip: Improves hit rating by 26. Equip: Increases attack power by 112.

Anub'ar-Husk Leggings Binds when picked up Mail Legs 652 Armor +61 Stamina Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 32. Equip: Increases attack power by 90.

Stonepath Helm Binds when picked up Plate Head 1083 Armor +24 Strength +85 Stamina Equip: Improves hit rating by 33.

Completion

We've lost so many good soldiers to that bastard, Thel'zan. I wish I could be there to see you crush his phylactery in front him and end his existence.

Notes

Talk to "Wyrmbait" when you're ready. Stay back, wait for Icestorm to get tethered and then nuke her from range. She'll drop the phylactery on the ground. Loot it and head back to Wintergarde.

If you're a melee class/spec, you can still kill her all right, but now she can hit you back, so watch your health. You may need to blow a cooldown (even if only to simply speed up the fight).
