Bring back 5 [Strider Meat] to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine.
- [Strider Meat] (5)
Description[]
Do you smell that delicious aroma? It's my secret recipe, <name>--fresh strider stew. Delicious! Perhaps you would be interested in learning the recipe? Before I teach you the recipe, you will need to prove that you can handle the beasts. Now, I don't expect you to go out and tame one and ride it back to me, but if you can kill a few and bring back some of their succulent meat, I may be persuaded to show you the ways of strider stew.
Reward[]
[Recipe: Strider Stew] | 5x [Strider Stew] |
Progress[]
The pot is empty and I'm hungry! What's taking you so long?
Completion[]
Fantastic! Try it and tell me what you think, <name>!
Gains[]
Upon completion of this quest you will gain:
- 900 XP (or 5 40 at level 70)
- 250 reputation with Darnassus
Notes[]
You need cooking skill level 10 to be able to get this quest.
The best drop rate for [Strider Meat] found to date has been from Giant Farstriders (lvl 17-18) around the Twilight Vale area (approximately 20%).
The meat is not a quest item per se, and can be gathered when not on this quest.
Trivia[]
The name of this quest appears to be a nod to Uriah Heep's 1970's hit Easy Livin', or to the jazz standard "Easy Living", along with the 1969 film Easy Rider.
