Prerequisites

In order for Commander Dawnbringer to offer you the quest, you must first become attuned to Naxxramas. To become attuned to Naxxramas, complete the quest The Dread Citadel - Naxxramas.

Objectives

Commander Eligor Dawnbringer at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands wants you to slay 5 Living Monstrosities, 5 Stoneskin Gargoyles, 8 Death Knight Captains and 3 Venom Stalkers.

Kill:

• 8 Death Knight Captains
• 3 Venom Stalkers
• 5 Living Monstrosity
• 5 Stoneskin Gargoyles

Quest Text

Five years since the last war...

Tens of thousands of lives were lost and for what? The threat was never fully extinguished.

And so the Lich King stirs once more... His yes-man, Kel'Thuzad, amassing for another attack upon our lands.

We will not allow it! Prove your dedication. Prove that you are willing to risk life and limb to stop this madness and the combined might of the Dawn and the Crusade will be at your beck and call.

Enter Naxxramas and destroy the Scourge within...

Details

The targets for this quest are the "trash" mobs in each of the four wings of Naxxramas:

• Deathknight Captains are in the Deathknight Wing.
• Venom Stalkers are in the Spider Wing. There are only 3 Venom Stalkers in all of Naxxramas, meaning if you have this quest, and joined a group that killed even 1, you have to wait till the next restart to get the rest required.
• Living Monstrosities are in the Abomination Wing. There are only 5 Living Monstrosities in all of Naxxramas, meaning if you have this quest, and joined a group that killed even 1, you have to wait till the next restart to get the rest required.
• Stoneskin Gargoyles are in the Plague Wing.

Additional Notes

Completing this quest will open up other quests related to Naxxramas, including the quests to earn the Tier 3 armor set.

This quest is still obtainable and doable in Wrath of the Lich King, although you must have done the old attunement quest to Naxxramas beforehand.
