Elixir of Agony (3) is the third quest on a Horde quest chain in Hillsbrad Foothills. In this quest, the player must gather various components to assist the apothecaries of the Royal Apothecary Society in their research of new plagues. You must have completed the previous quest, Elixir of Agony (2).

Objectives

Bring the Mudsnout Mixture, a Strong Troll's Blood Potion, 5 Daggerspine Scales and 5 Torn Fin Eyes to Apothecary Lydon in Tarren Mill.

Details

• You are supplied with the Mudsnout Mixture. You must collect the other ingrediants yourself.
• The Daggerspine Scales come from the Daggerspine naga directly to the east of Southshore along the coast.
• The Torn Fin Eyes are collected from the Torn Fin murlocs directly west of Southshore, also along the coast.
• Strong Troll's Blood Potions are made by alchemists. You must make one yourself, or buy one from another player.

Description

A mudsnout composite? Absolutely brilliant! Why didn't I think of that?

Let me contribute my colloid of decay to this devilish brew.

In order to activate the contaminating agents in this mudsnout mixture, Lydon is going to need a strong troll's blood potion, as well as some daggerspine scales and torn fin eyes from the southern coast of Hillsbrad. He'll know what to do once you've gathered him all the reagents. And my, how anxious I am to hear how his experiment goes!

Reward

You will be allowed to choose one of the following:

High Apothecary Cloak Binds when picked up Back 21 Armor +2 Stamina +5 Spirit

Meditative Sash Binds when picked up Leather Waist 53 Armor +6 Stamina +5 Spirit Durability 30 / 30
