Objectives

Take your orphan, Kekek, to visit Grizzlemaw [50, 42]VZ-Grizzly HillsBlip in Grizzly Hills. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you enter the trunk of the great tree.

  • Kekek taken to visit Grizzlemaw

Description

High-Shaman Rakjak always tell stories of mighty warriors, even ones far away. Sometimes he tell stories about giant bear-men fighting great battle for tree-city.

Maybe you take Kekek there, see tree, see battle! High-Shaman Rakjak tell Kekek that giant tree-city Grizzlemaw stand in the middle of Grizzly Hills.

Kekek never see a city before meeting orphan lady, but this city have no warriors, only men in purple dresses. Kekek want to see real warriors fight for real city.

Progress

Kekek want to visit bear-men tree. We go.

Completion

This is Kekek's kind of city. Bear-men fight for home just like Frenzyheart do. Orphan lady tell Kekek not to fight with other pups, but Kekek fight anyway.

Notes

Go to the base of Grizzlemaw, at the south-eastern edge of the trunk. Land, summon Kekek, then head up the trunk ramp inside. There will likely be Frostpaw or Redfang along the way.

On completion:

Wolvar Orphan says: You think maybe one day, Kekek lead Frenzyheart home like bear-men fight to get tree-city back? Kekek want own home, not city with purple men, not jungle with big-tongues.

Playmates!

Objectives

Speak to Orphan Matron Aria [49, 63]VZ-DalaranBlip in Dalaran, then use the Wolvar Orphan Whistle to call the orphan you will be taking care of during Children's Week.

Description

The orphans have been looking forward to the opportunity to meet friends like you, <name>. It's wonderful that you've agreed to take one into your care.

Take this whistle. With it, you will be able to call for the orphan you have agreed to sponsor. It will only last for a limited time - not much longer than Children's Week itself, in fact.

Please, <name>, call upon your orphan. He will be excited to meet you and see the sites of Northrend with you.

Progress

Orphan lady say Kekek go with you.

Completion

You take Kekek hunting? Good to get away from mean old orphan lady who doesn't let Kekek hunt.

Notes

Accept the quest, then speak to Aria again to complete the quest.

The Lich King's cruel reign has inflicted great suffering on all of Northrend's inhabitants, particularly the children. If you are friend to the Oracles or Frenzyheart Tribe of Sholazar, perhaps you might consider caring for an orphan for a week.

Gossip Ask about the orphans.

The orphans we have taken in come from war torn Sholazar Basin. You can choose to care for either an orphaned Oracle hatchling or a Frenzyheart pup. Either will be happy to make a new friend, but you will only be able to care for one of them.
