Midsummer Bonfires is not a quest in and of itself, but actually refers to quests of two other names:

•  [1] Honor the Flame.

These quests are available in most zones with Alliance or Horde towns, as appropriate, and some with neutral towns.

For completion of all quests, you will be rewarded with the following:

Gains

The XP for these quests is based on how much xp is needed for your next level. From level 1 to 60, the xp given is about 3% of that needed to level. From 61-70, it is about 1.5% that needed to level, and from 71-80 it is about 0.75% of that needed to level.

• A character under level 60 can expect to get about 2½ levels completing all the Classic (Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor)bonfires.
• A character under level 70 can expect to get about 1½ levels completing all Classic and Outland bonfires.
• A character under level 80 can get about 1 level completing all bonfires worldwide.

As all quests, these XP rewards are affected by Heirloom shoulders.

These quests do not award reputation with any faction.

All quests are independent; they can be done in any order. Below is a suggested order for time efficiency. Horde-to-Horde points which can be flown are marked with ; others must be run.

Though they are included in the total tally in the rewards section, the Outland, Northrend, and new Cataclysm zones are not included below. This is because the former two areas are fairly simple to run in a large loop, while the new zones can be accessed by stepping through the portals in either Stormwind City or Orgrimmar at their respective earthshrines.
