Objectives

Collect 200 Silithid Carapace Fragments and return to   Baristoloth.

Description

The Brood of Nozdormu are naturally distrusting of the lesser races. While it is true that you have proven to me that you have the potential makings of a hero, the time has come to prove this to my master.

Hive'Ashi, Hive'Zora, Hive'Regal: All swarming with activity and all a threat to our existence. Slay silithid at these hives and take from them a fragment of their carapace. When you can carry no more, return to me and I shall strengthen your resolve.

Reward

You receive

Proxy of Nozdormu Binds when picked up Unique Use: Target a friendly player to deputize them as an Agent of Nozdormu. As an Agent of Nozdormu, only you and your deputies may take the Silithid Carapace Fragments from the corpses of the silithid. Keep your badge in your pack at all times. 1 Charges "Bears the Seal of the Bronze Flight"

Progress

There is much history rooted in their distrust of the mortal races; but alas, such is a tale better left for the Brood to tell when the time is right.

Completion

You are not alone, hero. I will now grant you the ability to deputize others to help you in your quest. If you are to be the champion of your people, you will need assistance in your tasks and duties.

Notes

The repeatable version of this quest ( [60] The Hand of the Righteous) can be repeated until you reach neutral reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu. Getting to neutral is required for the next part of the quest chain,  [60] Anachronos. This quest must be completed at least once in order to continue the chain, even if you are already past neutral reputation with the Brood.

Use the  [Proxy of Nozdormu] while another player is targeted to deputize that player so they too will receive an  [Agent of Nozdormu] badge. That player will thus be able to loot carapace fragments too. The fragments are not BoP so they can be traded to whoever is on the quest chain in order to turn in this quest. For the first player or two to complete this quest on each server that needs to open the gates, this quest functions as a pyramid scheme as all carapace framgents collected eventually find their way back to the top of the pyramid so that player alone may turn them in and get credit for the work.
