Objectives
The Super Egg-O-Matic is the latest of Curgle Cranklehop's inventions. It is quite an impressive piece of machinery.
The Super Egg-O-Matic sputters wildly as you approach the control panel.
Completion
You place the hippogryph egg into the machine. A series of beeps follows along with some strange mechanical sounds.
It appears that the Eggometer has weighed, measured, and packaged your egg. Now that's speedy service!

Notes
The Egg Crate will have an egg of some variety, which you can then turn in for other useful things. See: Egg Crate.
The Hippogryph eggs are to be found in southern Feralas, in the mountains near the Ruins of Isildien. You must be some minimum level (>39) to pick up eggs.
This quest had been temporarily disabled at some point due to a teleport exploit, but was then reinstated. It has been removed again due to the Cataclysm and cannot be completed any longer.
No note on whether the reputation award is given every time.
This quest is unusual in that the quest description dialog's background is a steely blue image, though this is probably due to the fact you're dealing with machinery.
