Take the speech and board the fliyng machine "Thunderflash". It's the fastest ship to High Tinker Mekkatorque and this speech is the only thing he's waiting on before starting Operation: Gnomeregan.

Take me to Mekkatorque!

Starting the quest puts players in the attack phase. Status information appears along the top of the screen, much like the Battle for the Undercity. Should the battle be in progress, Elgin Clickspring is in waiting to tell players the situation.

This quest is optional: you can ride over here and accept {{Quest}Operation: Gnomeregan}} without having accepted/completed it. However, after completing Operation: Gnomeregan, the Gnomeregan surface area returns to its normal phasing, and Mekkatorque cannot be found here, even though 'Thunderflash' will still deliver you there. All is not lost - simply return to Mekkatorque in Tinker Town to turn the quest in.
