This Quest may be, in my mind, the most fun quest in WoW To date!
After finishing the first run of Ogri'la quests, this will open in the Skygaurd area just north of the Ogre base. The NPC will ask you to Wrangle up 5 Aether Rays around the area.
Its fairly simple, and easy to solo, but having a partner doesnt hurt because the credit for Wranglin is shared. Find yourself an Aether Ray, they look just like Nether Rays but have a different name, some can fly high up in the sky. For the High Flyers I typically jump off my mount, DOT and fall. For a Mele Class you will have to stay low.
Bring down your ray and start your damage, rememeber, the objective is to get its HP low enough for it to be Wrangled, not to kill it. (I am a warlock, this was VERY hard for me to do haha) When it gets to about 5% an emote will display that says
Aether Ray appears ready to be Wrangled!
I recommend having the rope on your hot bar, click it and get ready for some fun. Your character will Lasso the rope, after a few seconds, you will have an Aether Ray tied to you.
Keep going until you get all 5.
You can Mount with your new tethered friend in tow, just as normal, but you will have an Aether Ray on a rope!
Turn in the Quest. The NPC will ask you to get 5 more, go ahead and knock it out!
This quest will give you 11g and reputation Every Day, after the 4am daily quest reset.
