Zanzil's Secret is a neutral quest from Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale. In this quest, players are sent to collect samples of a mixture created by the exile Zanzil which causes those who drink it to become strong but feeble minded - similar to zombies.

Note that players can get this quest without completing  [43] Back to Booty Bay, but must have complted  [43] Back to Booty Bay to receive the next quest,  [44] Zanzil's Mixture and a Fool's Stout.

Obtaining this quest Edit

Crank Fizzlebub can be found in the Salty Sailor Tavern in Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale. Completion of  [43] Back to Booty Bay is NOT necessary to receive this quest.

Bring 12 samples of [Zanzil's Mixture] to Crank Fizzlebub in Booty Bay.

Details Edit

The creatures which drop [Zanzil's Mixture] can be found at both the Ruins of Jubuwal (Coordinates 35,51) and the Ruins of Aboraz (Coordinates 38,57) northeast of Booty Bay. Many players report a much better drop rate at the Ruins of Aboraz, in addition to less tightly packed mobs. The monsters at Ruins of Jubuwal are in groups and it is difficult not to get swarmed. Aboraz is along the coastline, reachable either by beach or by a path leading east from the road, just south of Jubuwal.

Zanzil the Outcast dwells with his followers in the Jubuwal and Aboraz Ruins, northeast of Booty Bay. He is exiled from his tribe. Why? Well...

Zanzil has methods of bending the minds of others, and his leaders fear him. He uses a mixture of jungle plants on his followers to suppress their will and strengthen their bodies.

His mixture would be worth much to those who wish to control others.

Bring me samples of his mixture, and I will find a use for them.
