For some reason, as I reached the road, the chicken "flew" off and the quest and was then listed in the log as "Completed". I never made it to the shore area. Gamerd (talk) 21:05, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

They "nerfed" the chicken escorts a few patches ago. Rather than 3 encounters of mobs and a long run, they shortened it to a short walk and 1 encounter of mobs. User:Coobra/Sig4 21:36, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

I just did this quest and had a slightly different experience -- semi-random single yeti while coming out of the cave, a pause, another yeti, a pause, and just before reaching the road (you don't have to get to any dock or coastline) two attack at once as the chicken squawks an alarm.

I, um... had to do it twice. The yeti were all high-30s, and two at once while I was already dinged up proved to be overwhelming.

The chicken then does an impressive JATO towards the clearing at the seaward end of the road. I haven't followed up in any goblin towns yet to see what the denoument might be. Corgi (talk) 15:25, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
