is a night elf quest giver located in Astranaar in the contested territory of Ashenvale. She has two pets: a saber cat named Korra and a wolf named Dagri. Raene can be found inside the inn.

SpeculationEdit

It is possible she was put in Ashenvale by Blizzard in order to cull the amount of horde raids on the town which frequently kill quest NPCs and ruin player experience. The same was done with the Crossroads NPC Sergra Darkthorn.

Raene Wolfrunner was the name of an EQ character of the person who started Norrath Studios and then Azeroth's Studio,^[1] which later became Studio MMO, an online art community.^[2]
