Rage Winterchill was a Lich employed by the Burning Legion during the Battle of Mount Hyjal. It is also evident that he helped lead the Scourge of Lordaeron, as he is seen leading large undead bases in March of the Scourge and The Shores of Northrend. He possessed powers surpassing most other liches, and had a red/purple tint to his model. He was killed during the Battle of Mount Hyjal. He was fanatically loyal to the Burning Legion.
Players can kill him in World of Warcraft via the Caverns of Time raid instance.
