Overview

Increases the Hunter's ranged attack speed by 40% for 15 seconds.

Functionality

Uses

• Anytime you need to do more ranged damage, this will help greatly.
• Decreases the cast time of Aimed Shot and Steady Shot.

Limitations

• 5 minutes is a long time to wait for the ability to recharge, however if the Survival talent Readiness is used immediately after Rapid Fire, the cooldown is finished and the skill becomes available again straight away.

• Striker's Garb (5 piece set bonus): Reduces the cooldown of your Rapid Fire ability by 2 minutes.
• Rapid Killing (Marksmanship Talent): Reduces the cooldown of your Rapid Fire ability by 1 minute per rank (2 ranks total)

Rapid Fire Tips

• The cooldown reductions from Rapid Killing and the Striker's Garb set-bonus do not stack.
• Use a damage increasing trinket like Bloodlust Brooch or Berserker's Call together with Rapid Fire to not only fire more shots but to make each shot hit harder.
• Stacking Rapid Fire with other haste spells such as Heroism or Bloodlust will further increase your firing speed.
