Changes: Raptor Hide Harness

Cogwheel gems are items that fit exclusively in Cogwheel sockets, much in the manner of cut gems. Currently the only items having Cogwheel sockets are Bio-Optic Killshades, Engineering crafted head items. It requires an Engineering skill of 525 or higher to enable these gems.

Cogwheel gems are sold in the Twilight Highlands by Frank Natale in Highbank and Zim Bamzabble in Dragonmaw Port. These vendors can only be accessed after a short chain of quests has been completed. As these quests require a minimum level of 84, this limits access to these vendors to characters of that level or higher. The gems themselves are not Bind on Pickup, though, so a higher level character can purchase them on behalf of a lower level character.

Currently, all Cogwheel gems are unique-equipped, preventing a person from doubling up on any of them.
