The Raynewood Retreat is an alliance outpost lead by a keeper of the grove named Ordanus. The druids and keepers here oppose the corruption that spreads through their beloved land.^{LoM 8}

In game it is represented by a great tree populated by night elven Cenarion Protectors, Blink Dragons, and Laughing Sisters. From that outpost, they watch over the path leading north to the corrupted land of Felwood. One of the eldest sons of the forest god Cenarius, Ordanus stays there, hunted by the minions of Braelyn Firehand.

CataclysmEdit

The Retreat is under attack by the Horde, as is the newly constructed tower nearby, Raynewood Tower. There are Alliance quests given at the tower.^[1] Shadumbra now wanders the area nearby and will assist in attacking the Horde.
