Discussion

Recount records damage and healing events from the combat log and collects that information for a consolidated, concise report of activity. The current view can show information for the current fight, over-all data, or information for any of the five previous combats. Recount can be configured to only save information for "Boss" fights, and that is probably how most players will want to set it up.

There have been some claims that when comparing Recount with other damage meter AddOns (notably Minnamods,) Recount's results are inflated and the DPS and damage numbers show are higher than should be reported. (source?)
