A kind of Salt processed from Deeprock Salt using a Salt Shaker made by Engineers. It is NOT a Leatherworking pattern, although only Leatherworkers with skill level of 250 or higher can use Salt Shaker. It used to have a cooldown time of three days. Similar to the Philosopher's Stone transmutations, having more salt shakers didn't speed the process.

Patch changes
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): 70 hour cooldown for creating this item has been removed. The cooldown was actually on the player, not the device, and the (sharable) device could be used at any time by a player whose cooldown was up.
